Beliefs

"In essentials, unity; in doubtful matters, liberty; in all things, charity."

Our desire is for everyone to have the opportunity to experience God in a real and mighty way in every area of the Body of Christ regardless of the denomination. We also honor and thank God for our Pentecostal/Spirit-filled heritage. Ultimately, our goal as Christians is to share with the world that Jesus:

1.) Saves

2.) Heals

3.) Baptizes with the Holy Spirit

4.) Is coming again

1.) God and the Scriptures

There is only one true God. He is triune in nature: Father, Son, and Spirit; three in one (the Trinity). This is how God's divine nature has been revealed to us according to various places within Scripture.
(Gen. 1:26; Deut. 6:4; Isa. 43:10-11; Matt. 28:19; Luke 3:22; 4:1; 1 John 5:7)

The Bible (the 66 books of the Old and New Testament) is the only divinely inspired, inherent, authoritative, and infallible Word of God. God uses His word to guide us into all truth, give us insightful revelation, and application to teach us about Himself and how to live our lives righteously according to His standards. This means we must be careful not interpret the Bible through the lenses of our lives or experiences but to let those things be conformed to His Word.
(Ps. 119; Matt. 4:4; Rom. 15:4; 1 Thes. 2:13; 2 Tim. 3:16-17)

2.) Jesus and Salvation

Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. His virgin birth, miracles, sinless life, sacrificial death, and resurrection happened just as the Bible says. He is King of Kings and Lord of Lords, currently interceding for us seated at the Father’s right hand and is the only mediator between God and man.

(Matt. 1:21-23; John 1:1-2, 5:25, 14:6; Acts 1:2-3, 2:22, 4:10-12; Col. 1:15; 1 Thess. 4:16-18; Titus 2:13; Rev. 19:10, 22:5)

Since the Fall (Adam's sin), all of mankind is full of sinfulness and does not initially desire good. It is when Jesus came to purchase our redemption that the light of the Gospel was revealed to us allowing us to make a choice. Salvation is only found in accepting Jesus as savior and Lord and repentance (asking forgiveness and turning away from our sins). Only by grace through faith, apart from works, are we saved.

(John 3:16-17; Acts 2:21; Rom. 3:23, 5:1, 6:23, 10:9-13; Eph. 2:8-10, 13-18; Titus 3:4-7; 1 John 1:9)

3.) God's Spirit and Power

The Holy Spirit dwells in all believers at the moment of salvation daily helping them follow Jesus and deny sin. He draws us to Jesus, gives us understanding of Scripture, convicts of sin, and bestows to us Spiritual Gifts such as healing, speaking in tongues, interpretation of tongues, miracles, prophecy, etc. These gifts, when used within biblical parameters, glorify God and help bring people to salvation. All works of the Holy Spirit point to Jesus Christ and confirm His Word.

(Joel 2:28-39; Mark 16:17-18; Luke 3:16; John 14:15-31,  Rom. 6:3-14, 8:1-2, 11; 1 Cor. 12:4-11, Chapt. 14; Eph. 4:1-32, 5:15-21)

The Baptism of the Holy Spirit’s power is a distinctively separate experience from salvation given to those who ask and at the ordained time of God. The initial physical manifestation (first outward sign) showing that this infilling has taken place is evidenced through speaking in tongues. We also equally affirm that it is not the only evidence. In other words, being filled with the Spirit is both an instantaneous and progressive process that is not limited to speaking in tongues but continually evidenced by the fruits of the Spirit, a desire for deeper devotion to Christ, supernatural boldness to witness, and power to operate in the Spiritual Gifts.
(Mark 1:8; Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4-8, 2:1-4, 16, 4:23-31, 10:44-47, 11:12-18, 19:1-6)

4.) The Church and Christ's Return

The spiritual and visible unity of the Church is important as well as its obligation to spread the Gospel to all the world. It's God’s will no one perishes so this is a priority in the life of believers: to preach salvation to those who do not know Christ as their savior, make disciples, and to baptize new believers in the name of Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. We are also instructed to congregate together (the local church) until the imminent day of Jesus’ return.
(Matt. 28:19-20; Mark 16:15-20; John 17:22-29; 2:40-47; Rom. 15:5; Eph. 4:3, 11-13; Phil. 2:1-5; Col. 3:12-15; Heb. 10:25)

On that day, Jesus will rapture His church. After the Great Tribulation, He will return bodily to rule and reign for 1,000 years. After this time, there will be a great judgment of all the earth with only two possibilities: the saved to everlasting life in Heaven and the lost to everlasting damnation to The Lake of Fire (Hell).
(Acts 24:15; 1 Cor. 15-20-23; 1 Thess. 4:13-18; Rev. Chpts. 19-20)
